The Bold and the Bashful

Well, right now   I'm going to talk what we did last week ,we received a quiz and also the first partial. What I want to let you know is, First: the quiz was finely honed but the exam was terrible in order that it had many contents a d did have a lot of time. In short, I am not worried about it because I have an excellent professor.

The Bold and the Bashful

The Bold and the Bashful Well, in this unit  the professor talked about it the different between Bold and Bashful, he said that Bold mean open, outgiong,is like a social person,. On the other hand Bashful mean the opposite , is a person that doesnt like to talk. We also discussed  a vocabulary from that unit. For example: phobia: very strong fear Chronic; is mean time Syndrome; is a condiction Kindred souls; people having similar traits We also heard a listening from Dr. Zimbardo, is was an interview with Alex Chadwick ,they were  talking about shyer person so the Dr. said that those people are having problem to get involve with social He compares shayness to Quasimodo ' s hump . From my point of view I think this unit is very important because we can identify the way we are in other to look help.

Unit 2.Honesty Is the Best Policy

In unit 2,we disuss the use of modals to talk about how sure or not we are of something. The modals are used with the tenses present , past and future. For the past  of modals we add  the auxiliary verb have and past participle. Examples :   Almost Certain : You   must be   joking . Almost Certain ( Imposible ) : He  couldn’t have   been in the offi c e.  Quite sure : She should be here soon. Less certain : You could be a millionaire soon.
